This time in english again, according to the language of the performers i’m going to introduce.
They are KurtHugoSchneider and JakeBruene and they are talented musicans. And as friends do, they battle a little bit. All started with a statement from Jake about the recorder from Kurt: “no one can play an actual song on the recorder”. This 10 words caused some nice music productions, as Kurt decided to show Jake that he was wrong. This leads to some unconventional music, but watch it on your own:
“Baby” on a recorder by Kurt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pL2sffgYXwY
Well, nice work, but Jake responded to this video, and started some kind of music battle, listen and watch it here
“Telephone” on glockenspiel by Jake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DH8Fb1kKsGM
next move was on Kurt, and he did very well and topped the glockenspiel with a crockenspiel
“Moonlight Sonata” on crockenspiel by Kurt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sBF-_WMY8HU
Jakes response was a bit more digital
“Beat it” on gameboy by Jake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26ho9yEAOrI
heard game boy music in a pub some year ago, still nice! And so it was on Kurt to beat it, and he did
“Zelda’s Lullaby” on ocarina by Kurt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYabXLTDSxw
It seemed that after months of no reply Jake gave up on this contest. His come back was rustic but sounds very nice
“Only Girl (In the World)” on zither by Jake: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZjxQARym4DQ
compare it with the original, i think it even sounds better than it. So Kurts moved on to the end of the 90 when polymorphic ring tones and key tones where bleeding edge
“Pachelbel’s Canon” on Cell Phone by Kurt: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmG34QB07Bc
So what’s coming next? We want more!
No matter who will finaly win this, really nice work of both
